Euchre Party 1st and 3rd Friday of Each Month 1:00.  Contact the Flora’s.

Programs or meetings are held September and November and again in the January, March, and May on the second Thursday evening of the month unless noted.

November 14th at 7:00 p.m. – “The Old Dusty Rusty Things I’ve Seen”   Speaker – Tom Staley, Local Antique Dealer – Tom Staley has had his store, Staley’s Antiques And Woodworking, on Sycamore St. for nearly 30 years.  He has seen trends over the years in what people are collecting, strange items come and go through his store, and prices go up and down.

    • If you have an item you can’t identify, bring it to the program, maybe Tom or someone else in attendance can tell you what it is and what it was used for.

Join us to hear Tom’s stories of the odd items he has had at his shop and the interesting people he has met.

November 29 and November 30 – 14th Annual Christmas Bazaar – Shop for new and gently used unique Christmas items and Homemade Goodies. There will be door prizes,  in house raffles, and also a 50-50 raffle. We appreciate you support of AWTHS through attending the bazaar.  This is our major fundraisers.  You will find no better place for Christmas items.  Hours are Friday Nov. 29 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Saturday Nov. 30 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Summer 2020 Coffee and Conversation Series

Coffee and Conversation Series continues for the seventh summer.  Those attending the past sessions have enjoyed sharing laughs, memories, and stories of growing up in Southern Darke County.  Each session features a different guest with a little different background and different experiences. They will be sharing their stories and they want to hear your stories too. Enjoy a cup of coffee and a donuts while reminiscing with neighbors and friends.  You are welcome to bring memorabilia to share with us during these morning sessions. Each session begins at 10:00 a.m. on the second Saturday of the month.
